Dr. Heidi Quinn is a full time associate veterinarian who joined Cary Grove Animal Hospital in August 2015.
Dr. Quinn is a graduate of the University Of Illinois College Of Veterinary Medicine and previously practiced in the Buffalo Grove area. Prior to entering Veterinary school, she was a Veterinary Technician and supervisor at an animal hospital in Champaign, IL. During that time she became very dedicated to providing clients with as much education about their pets as possible and continues to provide that as a doctor today.
Dr. Quinn enjoys the challenges of internal medicine, dermatology, preventative care, and also helps with our rescue pet program and surgeries. She is very detailed in her approach to examinations to allow for an accurate diagnosis and effective treatment plans for her patients. It is this mentality that awarded her the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine Certificate of Clinical Excellence during her senior year of Veterinary School at the University of Illinois.
Dr. Quinn is a key addition to Cary Grove Animal Hospital and our clients and patients enjoy her warm, compassionate demeanor. She resides in the area with her husband and dogs, and is glad to be back in the area in which she grew up in!
Dr. Lesli Stovall is an associate veterinarian who joined Cary Grove Animal Hospital in February 2016.
Dr. Stovall is a graduate of the University Of Illinois College Of Veterinary Medicine and brings nearly 30 years of experience as a veterinarian to our staff. She began her career in small animal practice at Dundee Animal Hospital and Heritage Hill Veterinary Clinic in Boston. In 1993 she returned to her hometown and started practicing at the Animal Medical Center in Crystal Lake, IL with Dr. Peggy Chamberlain. She left Animal Medical Center Crystal Lake in 2015 when Dr. Chamberlain retired.
Dr. Stovall enjoys building relationships with both clients and patients. She focuses on the importance of wellness care as well as understanding and addressing the root causes of chronic recurring health issues (i.e. allergies, food sensitivities, etc.). With that dual approach she strives to achieve optimal health in her patients for many years.
Dr. Stovall (Layer) is a life-long resident of the Crystal Lake area. She and her husband Jim Layer, who has been part of the Sage Products family for over 22 years, are active in community projects and philanthropy. Dr. Stovall is also a CASA volunteer for kids and teens in the DCFS system, as well as a volunteer counselor on a nationwide Crisis Text Line for teens and young adults in crisis.
